Reopening Out of Lockdown: Saturday 30th October 2021!

RE-OPENING SATURDAY 30th October 2021

We're as excited as you that lockdown has finally lifted in Melbourne and we're busy getting set to have you come and browse our shop FULL of beautiful products!

After being closed for the most part of two years it's imperative that we make the most of the next two months to aid our recovery to be able to get us through the next 12 months.

As you can imagine while we're excited/relieved that restrictions are lifting, there's also an increasing sense of anxiety with both myself and my staff about what reopening will be like.

The main cause of this anxiety is definitely the requirement for us to enforce rules and regulations and what the results of failing to comply could mean in terms of increased exposures, potential fines, and potentially being shut down during our peak time when we've only just been given an opportunity to reopen.

Our team at AQOF are all fully vaccinated, not because it was mandated, but by choice. We want to protect ourselves, our family and friends, the vulnerable that can't be vaccinated and the wider community.

To shop in-store with us, we require

• Compulsory masks (worn properly - none if this below the nose business)

• Compulsory QR Check In with Proof of Vaccination

• Hand sanitising upon entry

• Social distancing between staff and other customers

• Abiding by our capacity restrictions

We want to be able to come to work knowing our customers respect us enough to adhere to these conditions of entry without being asked and to be able to spend our time serving you and helping you find what you're looking for! 💛

We kindly ask if you aren't able to follow the above conditions of entry at this time that you opt to shop with us online. We won't be engaging in debates about these requirements.

If you are a vulnerable member of our community who has not been able to be vaccinated and you're happy to provide proof of medical exemptions please let us know when you visit us in-store. We can also work with you to organise a way for you to shop with us in the forms of assisted shopping via phone or alternatively exclusive shopping sessions before or after our regular hours. We understand that for those who aren't able to be vaccinated for genuine reasons this is a difficult time and we're here to help!

It's been a big 12 months for me not only as a small business owner but personally too, as I'm not one to be on social media regularly I have written a bit of an update you can read about here.

We can't wait to see you from Saturday 30th October when we swing open our pink front door again to welcome you.
