Made with Australian Activated Charcoal and the finest Pumice Stone, this slightly abrasive, castile based hand soap is infused with certified organic essential oils of wintergreen, camphor wood, scotch pine, lemon peel and vetiver, helping to soothe tired, aching hands whilst the oils create a herbaceous yet stimulating scent. Not only will the pumice gently slough off sticky messes, but leave your hands feeling fresh, clean and soft.
Wintergreen oil is often used to help alleviate muscle aches (this oil is used in Deep Heat etc). The methyl salicylate in the oil acts similarly to aspirin, making it an excellent natural remedy for sore muscles and arthritic hands. It's anti-inflammatory properties make it effective in reducing swelling and soothing skin irritations. It's commonly found in balms and ointments to relieve minor skin and joint issues.
Activated charcoal, also called 'activated carbon' or 'carbo activatus', is a form of carbon that has been processed to make it extremely porous, making it perfect for odour absorption. Activated Charcoal also helps absorb odours so is a great gift not just for gardeners but also chefs, cooks, mechanics, artists or anyone who uses their hands regularly.
