How to Use
Place the heat pack in the microwave on high for 2 minutes, then test the temperature. Return it to the microwave in 15-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached.
Heat packs may not feel particularly warm immediately after being removed from the microwave, as the heat is concentrated in the middle of the pack. Giving the pack a gentle shake helps distribute the warmth.
Place the heat pack wherever extra warmth is needed and allow it a moment to settle against the body. The heat pack typically stays warm for 30–45 minutes, depending on the surrounding air temperature.
Heat packs can also be used as cold packs. Simply place the pack in the freezer for at least 30 minutes until chilled. As the pack contains no water, it will not freeze solid. For convenience, it can be stored in a freezer-safe container in the freezer, ready to use whenever a cooling wrap is needed.
