Buri straw is harvested from the grand Buri Palm, native to the Philippines and tropical Southeast Asia. It is a resilient, lightweight palm fiber known for its exceptional structural strength, smooth texture, and superior sun protection.
We use natural fibers that fit within natural carbon cycles. We only use synthetic fibers where a natural alternative is unavailable so that it won't cost the earth later. We don't mix fibers so that we can separate components for reuse or recycling.
